The written contract Batas Kasambahay requires before a kasambahay starts work (RA 10361, sec. 11), item by item as in DOLE's model contract Form BK-1 — in Tagalog as DOLE prints it, or in English. Both of you sign it, and the kasambahay keeps a copy. It is not notarized.
You will need: A language you both understand; Full name of the household employer; Your home address; optional; Full name of the kasambahay; In years; Their own home address; optional; The household address where they work; First day of work.
